How far back in time can you go?
ButtonUsually to the late 1700s or early 1800s, it usually depends if we can find records relating to our ancestors. Some we can go back even further.

Can I call for an update?
ButtonYou certainly can, however, I will be emailing you with the progress of your tree every week. Or if you would rather it be a surprise is up to you, the choice is yours.

Missing persons
ButtonSome people just go 'missing', like today. People emigrated, changed their names, changed the spelling, and didn't fill in any forms like the census.

How long does it take?
ButtonThis depends on which package, the more work involved then the longer it will be. One and two surnames about 7 - 9 weeks, the four surnames generally around 12 - 14 weeks.

What information do you need to get started?
- As much information you have to be honest, the more you have the better, even if you think it is something trivial. There may be something that has been passed down the generations, maybe a bit of gossip, something you overheard. Every little bit of information can be useful.
- Make a note of whatever names, dates, places addresses and occupations you know, and even any bits of tiny information or stories. It can be a good idea to ask any elderly relatives you have what they can remember, these can be goldmines of information. If you like I can send out a questionnaire for you to fill in, it can jog your memory.

I have more information and photographs, is it too late to send them to you?
- Any information you have will always be welcome no matter when, it can still be added to your tree at any time.

How far can you go back in time with my tree?
- Mostly back to the late 1700s or early 1800s. In some cases, I can go further but it all depends on what records are available. The further back we try to go the harder it can be due to lack of information.

Can I call for an update?
- You certainly can, however, I will give you an update every week on how things are progressing. It is not only exciting for you the customer but for me too, any new information I find out is interesting and exciting.

How long does it take to finish the book
- This all depends on the information I have found and how long it takes to research. Then the writing it all up printing etc, obtaining certificates, all this takes time. One or two surnames, around 7 - 9 weeks, and the four surnames around 12 - 14 weeks.
